Summary
- Players will encounter Time Runes as Loot inside of Time Dungeon on monsters, inside containers, in mystery boxes and as part of quests
- Runes have a limited duration before they decay
- Players can use at most 1 Time Rune every 60 seconds
- There are 4 Circles of Time Runes possible, which each higher level being a more powerful rune
- Players can craft a Time Dungeon Satchel to reduce the item & weight of runes
Time Rune Usage
- Players can use a Time Rune by double-clicking it
- The player will be frozen in place for (Rune Circle x 1) seconds while activating the rune
- Once complete, the rune will be consumed
- Players can shift-click a Time Rune and click the "Description" entry to see details of what its Base effects are as well as Bonuses it receives from Codex Upgrades
Decay Timers
All newly acquired Runes and Relics now have limited durations before they decay:
* Level 1 Runes: 24 hours
* Level 2 Runes: 18 hours
* Level 3 Runes: 12 hours
* Level 4 Runes: 6 hours
* Relics and select consumables (Omni-Potions, Tyromancer Cheese, Timely Bank Notes): 4 hours
Players can single-click any rune or relic to view its remaining time. Runes acquired after this patch are no longer stackable due to individual decay timers.
Rune Refund Rates (Time Codex)
- Level 1: 5% per Codex level
- Level 2: 4% per Codex level
- Level 3: 3% per Codex level
- Level 4: 2% per Codex level
Time Runes & Codex Upgrades
- Players can craft a Time Dungeon Codex with the Inscription skill
- This will allow the player to earn Experience in Time Dungeon and upgrade the power of Time Runes they use
- When a player is under the effect of Negate Time or Mass Invisibility, any pets or followers that they may have likewise gain these effects. Pets do not count towards the target maximum for these abilities.
