Description
- The Fencing skill determines the player's chance to attack or avoid attacks while using a Fencing-skill weapon. Fencing weapons are typically faster than average, but lower than average damage. Fencing weapons may be poisoned using the Poisoning skill. The Fencing special attack against creatures increases poison and disease damage against the target, and also applies Cripple debuff, which increases the chance to hit against the target.

- The chance to hit with a Fencing weapon is equal to (attacker's fencing skill + 50) / ((defender's weapon or wrestling skill + 50) * 2) plus any relevant accuracy bonuses
- Increases Base Weapon Damage by (25% * Skill / 100) as a secondary weapon skill (when using another weapon skill) in PvM.
- Increases Base Weapon Damage by (10% * Skill / 100) as a secondary weapon skill (when using another weapon skill) in PvP. (PvP Melee Supplemental Damage Cap 20%)

- Increases PvM Base Weapon Damage by (25% * Skill / 100) as a secondary weapon skill (when using another weapon skill)
PvM Special Attack
- Only works against creatures, not other players
- Players have a 10% chance of inflicting a Fencing Weapon Special Attack against creatures
- This chance can be further increased via the Arms Lore Skill, Water Aspect Armor, or Mastery Chain Links.
- Increases Damage by 100% and adds 1 stack of Cripple to target lasting 8-16 seconds (max of 5 Cripple stacks on target).
- Target's Defense is reduced by 6% per Cripple stack, and takes an additional 6% Poison and Disease damage per Cripple stack

- Attackers that normally had a 50% chance to hit the creature will now have a 56% chance to hit
- Any Players or Player Followers that apply Poison to the target through a Melee attack, will now have their Poison Tick damage against the target increased by 6%

Weapon Setup Bonus
- Players will receive bonuses against creatures based on what "setup" they have for weapons/shields occupying their hands
- These bonuses will be listed as (Setup) in the [stats page
- These bonuses only apply to non blessed weapons/spell books
